Sculptra is a cosmetic injectable treatment made of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) that is used to add volume to the face and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Sculptra stimulates the production of collagen, a protein that gives skin its elasticity, leading to a fuller and more youthful appearance. Sculptra is usually injected into the deep dermis, and results are usually visible within 2 to 6 weeks, with the effects lasting up to 2 years.
