Dr. Darryl D’Costa
Our Founder, Dr. D’Costa, brings over 20 years of medical experience to Vibrance. He believes in offering aesthetic treatments with client safety and well-being at the forefront.
Dr. D’Costa is a Canadian trained physician with more than 20 years of clinical experience working in the ER. Having always had an interest in pursuing Aesthetic Medicine, in 2017 he obtained training in Botox™ and filler injectionables.
Since then, he has been on a journey seeking advanced technologies to provide next level, natural results. His background in Emergency Medicine has bred a tenacious drive to pursue excellent outcomes while maintaining patient safety as Vibrance’s core principals. He has a special interest and training in Age Management Medicine including using diet and activity to promote healthy aging.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
After graduating from Queen’s Life Science (’94) and completing a Masters Degree at Queen’s in Anatomy (’96), Dr. D’Costa went on to pursue Medicine at Queen’s University (2000). Since completing his residency in Emergency Medicine at the Ottawa Hospital, Dr. D’Costa has practiced emergency medicine in Ontario since 2003.
In 2017 Dr. D’Costa expanded his practice to include traditional aesthetic medicine, training in neuromodulators (Botox™) and fillers with some of the most influential injectors both Internationally and in Canada. Alongside Injectables, Dr. D’Costa received training in the use of Plasma Energy based devices. He has trained with world renowned PLEXR “Soft Surgeons” in Europe, Neogen providers in the US, and is dedicated to offering patients innovative, regenerative and transformative Plasma Energy based treatments.
He is continually enhancing his training to allow him to offer the latest medical techniques and advanced technologies to provide safe, precise, long lasting and natural results at Vibrance.
ACHEIVEMENTS & PERSONAL LIFE
Dr. D’Costa was the first Doctor in Canada to be able to offer Plasma Skin Resurfacing using Neogen (Health Canada Approved). He is also one of the first Doctors in Canada to offer PLEXR Soft Surgical treatments for lesion removal, blepharoplasties and non-surgical facelifts (Health Canada Approved).
Dr. D’Costa has had the privilege of practicing aesthetic medicine in the communities of Barrie and Vaughan and is excited to bring his expertise closer to his hometown of Collingwood, Ontario, where he enjoys fitness, mountain biking, downhill and skate skiing. As the father of teenage daughters, Dr. D’Costa is committed to providing aesthetic services that support emotional and physical well-being while allowing clients to recognize and remain true to their unique vibrant selves.
Dr. D’Costa believes we are all on a journey through life. He believes that feeling Vibrant, and feeling at our best, helps us experience that journey to the fullest.
